This film is rated R for violent content and nudity. I highly recommend that parents view the film prior to allowing their children to watch it. You as parents may decide to allow your child to watch the entire video, excerpts, or none – all of which is perfectly acceptable. The film in my opinion is a good visual representation of the accounts of the Transatlantic Slave Trade and the only US Supreme Court Case of African piracy brought to trial that ended in this fashion.
